Winter Weather Advisory for Sunday, January 16, 2022
Posted 01/16/22The most recent forecast from the National Weather Service indicates the possibility of 6 to 12 inches of heavy wet snow between now and Monday (1/17) afternoon, with high winds up to 40 mph. There is the possilbity of freezing rain at the onset of this weather event.
If possible, be safe and stay off the roads until crews have had the chance to clear them.
If you have an emergency call 911! Avoid calling 911 unless it is a true emergency. Our emergency services teams (police / fire / EMS / 911 / EMA) will be out in full force during this event, and will be very busy.
Please do not shovel snow unless you are healthy enough to do so safely.
